Panguna

Panguna Town was created for the mine and its workers. It provided a range range of accommodation for single and married staff. Also a supermarket, church, pool and sporting facilities. In the area close by were the mines stores, workshops and training facilities. The area was dominated by the pit and associated production facilities.
